Hello and welcome to
my web site… My name is Kyle Weygandt.
My mission is
to provide state of the art, high quality, and applicable training to social
services, law enforcement, and professionals on a myriad of topics as we deal
with human behavior. Many programs around the United States set out to identify
behaviors and put a label on them, or their program format teaches the
practitioner that they get involved after the individual is going into an acting
out episode which teaches REACTIVITY!
By teaching the proactive approach,
participants learn how they can get involved before the problem is
exhibited by either identifying behaviors in others or how they react to the
cycle of verbal and physical violence. Through
this “identification process”, participants
are taught that how they view and react to negative stimuli has a direct
correlation to the crisis outcome! How do participants learn to deal with inappropriate
behaviors? Through psycho-dynamic
role plays and group activities, participants not only learn how they react to
their own stress, they learn
proactive ways to lead others into a more manageable condition where they can be
communicated to. As you look over
this site, you will also identify
many other programs that would be applicable to many arenas in the work place,
such as the S.M.A.R.T. Program (Security Management And Response
Training) that addresses work place violence.
I want to
personally thank you for perusing my site.
If you have any questions or would like more clarification on any of my
programs, please feel free to
contact me.
Yours truly in
educating the professional,
Kyle E.
Weygandt
About the Presenter..
Kyle
Weygandt is an educator and owner of “Just The F.A.C.T.S.” (Forensic And
Criminology Training Seminars). Kyle’s
Interest in Forensic Education was
sparked
when he became a presenter over 15 years ago teaching people how to
deal with criminal
behaviors, and crisis management. Because he wanted to provide the most up to date
information and
techniques, he committed to research as
much information on the topic
that he could.
Over the years that followed, the
information he obtained was fine tuned
by his 14 years of service in
criminal rehabilitation and 3 years as a social worker,
counselor.
Having a good foundation in rehabilitation, he geared his interests
towards
forensic and criminal
behavior. Kyle felt that in order to
understand and apply the
criminal/ legal aspect , he should enroll in the “Ohio
Peace Officers Training Academy”
which he did,
and became a commissioned police officer. During this time frame
Kyle also finished his Master of Science degree in
Psychology. After serving as a part
time police officer for over 8 years dealing with criminal behavior, and his back ground in
Psychology, he designed many programs to not only
identify behaviors, but to
proactively intercept and address ways of dealing
with behavior, through understanding
how the body reacts to stressors and
proactive communication techniques. It
is with this
knowledge Kyle tested to be credentialed with one of the most
respected forensic
organizations in the United States known as “The National Association Of Forensic
Counselors”. Kyle’s hard work paid
off and he became recognized as a Forensic
Educator, Certified Domestic Violence Counselor III, and a Certified Clinical Criminal
Justice
Specialist. Kyle continues to provide
Forensic education to many agencies
and is a respected key note speaker for various organizations
on the topics of
Domestic Violence,
Proactive Crisis Management, and Dealing with Physical Aggression.
Kyle shares his principals with the “Stark
State College Ohio Peace Officer Training
Academy” teaching cadets about the effects of violence and
victimization. This
approach has
educated many police officers to become more compassionate and
proactive in
referring victims for counseling/support and not just focusing on the
perpetrator
of a crime. Kyle has submitted many articles on many
topics. One such
article “Domestic Violence 101”, which identifies
the effects of Domestic Violence on
the whole family and outlines the cycle of
violence from one generation to the other was
published in the “Forensic
Therapist”. Kyle’s hope for the future
is to have the honor
to share his programs with professionals that are in the
service of others, provide
quality
care, and teaching… “Just the FACTS.”
